2026 Student Board Members

  • President - Daniel Paul

“Hi, my name is Daniel “DP” Paul. I was born and raised in Queens, NY, and graduated from Hunter College in 2009 with a BA in Sociology. I am currently a chiropractic student at the University of Bridgeport with a strong focus on sports medicine.

My passion for conservative sports care began through my mentor Dr. Meyer, the former Physical Therapist for the St. Louis Cardinals, whose dedication and patient-centered approach inspired my career path. After experiencing both chiropractic and physical therapy as a patient, I chose chiropractic for its hands-on approach and movement-focused philosophy.

At UB, I created and served as President of the Chiropractic Sports Medicine Club, where I expanded student engagement, sports education, and clinical exposure. I hope to further strengthen and grow the ACASC student chapter by applying the knowledge, leadership experience, and sports-focused clinical insight I’ve gained through building and leading my program’s sports club.”

  • Vice President - Cathryn Brought

“Hi! My name is Cathryn Brought. I’m from Wellsboro, PA, and graduated from Lycoming College in 2024 with my Bachelors of Science in Biology. I am currently attending Northeast College of Health Sciences, pursuing my Doctor of Chiropractic degree, as well as my Masters of Applied Clinical Nutrition.

I was introduced to chiropractic care as an athlete in college, and was immediately drawn to its holistic, patient-centered approach of treating individuals - especially athletes.

My goal is to translate previous club leadership experience to our ACASC chapter, expand our community, and turn initiatives into opportunities to learn and grow within our profession.”

  • Director of Education - Jenna Demas

Jenna Demas is originally from Illinois and earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science with a Pre-Chiropractic emphasis from Benedictine University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the National University of Health Sciences, where she is actively involved in research with interests in rehabilitation, movement-based care, and patient education.

Jenna’s introduction to sports chiropractic began after a gymnastics injury, where collaborative, exercise-focused treatment helped her recover and inspired her career path. Since becoming a certified personal trainer in 2019, Jenna has coached a wide range of clients, from beginners to national-level powerlifters. Her evidence-based coaching style mirrors her approach to patient care that is centered on clear communication and long-term sustainability.

As Director of Education, Jenna is dedicated to fostering a supportive and research-informed environment within the student chapter. She is passionate about bridging the gap between current literature and clinical application, helping students feel confident as they grow into future clinicians.
Outside of academics and clinical work, Jenna enjoys traveling, cooking nutritious meals, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.

  • Past President - Kyle Fish

Kyle is originally from Kingwood, TX. He graduated with honors from the University of Houston - Downtown with a BA in Marketing. Kyle currently attends Texas Chiropractic College.

His first experience with a sports chiropractor was in Peewee football and he’s been a big believer in the science ever since. His goal is to help all athletes become the best they can be and to serve his community.

Kyle is very excited to continue his education and grow with all that the ACASC has to offer. He hopes to aid in the advancement of the student chapters so that every student has the ability to become the best chiropractor they can be.
