Thanks to everyone for your nominations for new Board members. We have finalized the appointments, and you can now see the latest American Chiropractic Association Sports Council Board Members.
If you are involved in sports chiropractic, we highly recommend staying current on the various international developments of the field. One of the ways to do that is by checking out recent publications by the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) here is a direct link to their chiropractic publications.
As a professional, non-profit organization with a membership of active chiropractors, the ACA Sports Council's main purpose is to provide service in the prevention, management and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. ACA Sports Council members are chiropractors and allied health professionals who demonstrate scientific leadership, involvement and dedication in the daily practice of sports chiropractic in their offices and on the field. The unifying interest of the membership is their concern with the effects of exercise the use of chiropractic services to enhance athletic performance and promote physical fitness. Sports Council members work with athletes of all levels, from novice to elite, and with sports teams and events from minor youth leagues all the way to the Olympics.

Sports Chiropractic
Chiropractic has made incredible in-roads into organized sports over the past few years - the ACA Sports Council's rapidly expanding Chiropractic Sports Network of over 3,000 events is proof of that fact. Sports Chiropractors are Doctors of Chiropractic who have specialized training in sports injuries and physical fitness. They are experts in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal structures. Sports Chiropractors are licensed in all fifty states and many countries throughout the world.
